Welcome to the IBA Home page The IBA 2006-2007 season is about to get underway! If you are interested in participating, please sign up for one of our exciting IBA leagues. There is no fee required... it is all just for fun! If you have friends and/or family that want to participate then spread the word and have them sign up too. If the current capacity of teams is filled, formation of new leagues can be easily done. What is the IBA exactly? The IBA is a fantasy basketball league like none other. As an IBA coach, you will be able to: participate in an interactive draft where you hand pick your teams top players review up-to-date stats about any NBA player, including graphs of past performance organize your team lineup on a day by day basis inspect scouting reports that forecast impending gameplay results compete in 4 or 5 head-to-head contests per week contend for the instantaneously determined #1 ranking in your IBA league jockey for the top coaching efficiency ranking strive for the best record in your league and qualification into the IBA postseason and last but most certainly, not least... enjoy the comraderie of fellow NBA fanatics via the lively, spirited, and ofttimes cantankerous IBA league mailing lists The IBA is so exciting in part due to the underlying dynamic gameplay engine and the rigorous 82-game schedule in each IBA league. The IBA demands a daily committment of lineup management and review of prepared scouting reports in order to maximize the chance for success in the 4 or 5 contests each IBA coach will face on a weekly basis (so don't jump on board if you have a past history of wussing out when the going gets tough).
